Lana Porche is a fashion designer based in Kent, Ohio while she completes her final year of schooling to earn her B.F.A. in Fashion Design. Growing up, Lana constantly sought knowledge of history, art, and how these diversify human cultures. She kindles her love of the diverse through the ability to see beauty in everything, and letting the world surround her provide inspiration. Lana’s central pillar in her designs is fashion is always an art. The medium is fabric and the canvas is the human form. Like all art, she wants her designs to evoke emotion and stir thought within the viewer. Clothes are the art worn daily to express and reveal things about both the designer and wearer, and with these clothes, Lana aims to tell a story.
